Rugger Tours (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”)
Welcome to Rugger Tours. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website [www.ruggertours.com] (the “Site”) and the services we provide, including the booking of educational college tours for high school students (the “Services”).
By accessing or using our Site or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking on behalf of a student.
Students under 18 must have their parent or legal guardian register and provide consent for participation.
2. Services Overview
Rugger Tours organizes guided college tours for high school students exploring post-secondary education options. Services may include:
Tour scheduling and transportation arrangements
On-campus visit coordination
Educational support materials
Supervision by experienced chaperones
3. Booking and Payments
All bookings must be made through our official website or designated registration forms.
Full payment or a deposit (as specified) is required to reserve a spot.
Payments are accepted via credit/debit card or other listed methods.
A confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration and payment.
Referral rewards apply only to first-time bookings and new families. Rewards are issued within 30 days once payment is complete and paid in full.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Optional 2-Day Trip Cancellation Protection ($30):
If purchased at registration, you may cancel for any reason up until departure.
Refunds will be issued for all payments made, minus a $75 non-refundable registration fee and the $30 protection fee.
Optional 3-Day Trip Cancellation Protection ($45):
If purchased at registration, you may cancel for any reason up until departure.
Refunds will be issued for all payments made, minus a $75 non-refundable registration fee and the $45 protection fee.
Without Cancellation Protection:
All payments are non-refundable.
Other Conditions:
No-Shows/Early Departures: No refunds for missed, late, or early departures.
Cancellations by Rugger Tours: If we cancel or reschedule due to low enrollment, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, participants receive a full refund or credit.
5. Code of Conduct
Participants must behave respectfully and responsibly. Inappropriate conduct (harassment, vandalism, disruption, etc.) may result in removal from the tour with no refund.
6. Assumption of Risk
Participation involves inherent risks (injury, illness, loss). Rugger Tours takes reasonable safety measures but cannot guarantee a risk-free experience. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
7. Medical Emergencies
Parents/guardians must provide emergency contact details and relevant medical history. In case of emergency, Rugger Tours staff will seek appropriate medical care and notify the listed contact.
8. Privacy Policy

9. Intellectual Property
All Site content (text, graphics, logos, images) is owned by Rugger Tours or its licensors and protected by copyright/trademark law. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute without prior consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
Rugger Tours is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Site use or tour participation. Liability is limited to the total booking amount paid.
11. Modifications
We may update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Site or Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Cancellation Protection Recommendation
We recommend participants purchase independent travel insurance for trip cancellations, medical emergencies, or lost belongings. Rugger Tours does not provide insurance and is not responsible for uncovered costs.
15. Photo & Media Release
By joining our tours, you grant Rugger Tours permission to use photos/videos including you or your child for promotional purposes (social media, website, marketing). If you do not consent, notify us in writing before the tour begins.
16. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events outside our control (natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, epidemics, transportation disruptions, etc.).
17. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes must first be addressed through informal negotiations. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Nassau County, New York under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
18. Behavior & Parental Responsibility
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child follows all tour rules and staff instructions. Rugger Tours is not liable for individual participant actions. Damages caused may result in charges billed to the parent/guardian.
19. Subcontractors and Third Parties
We may use third-party vendors (transportation, hotels, restaurants). While carefully selected, Rugger Tours is not responsible for the acts/omissions of these vendors.
20. Accessibility & Special Needs
Please notify us of special accommodations at booking. We will do our best to meet all needs, but some locations/activities may have limitations.
